Looking for a fun, social hit? In- House Competitions are a great way to meet new people and have a hit with someone around the same skill level. Best of all, there’s no commitment to play every week, flexible whereby you can schedule your matches and only takes less than an hour to get a lung-busting workout. Craving the adrenalin rush? At DSC we organize a number of tournaments year round for those looking for more competition from locals and international players. These tournaments are often of a fix format based on the WSF rules and it also allows you to gain national ranking points. Apart from the tournaments below, also check out some of our programs to help you prepare for it! Call and ask the friendly staff for dates.
Pennant: A formal Club competition every Tuesday night from 7.30pm for all squash levels run by the Darwin Squash Association. There are 2 competitions each year and players can nominate to be a part of a team at the start of each season or elect to be a reserve and be called upon when needed.
Doubles: Thursday nights at 6.30pm. This is also a 10 week competition in line with the school terms. Enter with a partner or ask us to find one for you – All ages are welcome and no doubles experience is necessary.
Masters: Thursdays from 7.30pm, this is a competition for all ages (Players must be 35+ to compete in National Masters events). You can sign up for the full comp and be part of a team or elect to be a reserve when needed. It’s a 10 week competition run in line with the school term.
Junior League: Junior League in Term 4, starting on Wednesday 18th October – 6th of December. Every Wednesday Night at 6pm.
